The racial gap for coronavirus vaccines in Wisconsin continues to grow.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said just over 58 percent of people in the state have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine. But, as has been the case for nearly a year, the overwhelming majority of those people are white. DHS says two-point-six million white people in the state have gotten at least one dose, while just over 150 thousand Black people have done the same. That is the smallest percentage among all of Wisconsin’s demographics.
