Jury deliberations continue in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial in Kenosha County.
This morning the jury was reduced from the 18 who heard the case to the 12 who are deliberating. Early in the deliberations jurors did request some information regarding the judge’s instructions to them. Rittenhouse is charged with killing two men and wounding another during civil unrest in Kenosha last year.
As the Jury is at work, officials with the Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office have no plans at this point to close roads or enact curfews following the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.
Chief Erik Larson and Sheriff David Beth say their departments have been working together to coordinate their efforts and improve response capabilities to large-scale events.
