The jury in Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial will get to work today.
Both the prosecution and Rittenhouse’s lawyers ended their closing arguments yesterday, the jury will begin deliberations at nine a.m. this morning.
Rittenhouse is facing a possible life sentence for killing two men and wounding a third during Kenosha’s night of violence in August of last year. The jury can also consider less severe charges.
Prosecutors say Rittenhouse escalated the situation by bringing a gun to Kenosha that night. Rittenhouse’s lawyers have said from the beginning that he fired in self defense, and only after being attacked first.
