Menomonie Schools Adjust Calendar After COVID-19 Cases

Kids in Menomonie Schools are getting a longer Thanksgiving break due to the coronavirus.

Superintendent Joe Zydowski sent a letter to parents explaining that there won’t be enough teachers and staff members to cover classes on Monday and Tuesday of next week, so the school is canceling classes. The superintendent says a recent spike in coronavirus cases has many teachers and school employees either isolating, quarantining, or taking care of their loved ones. Kids are set to return back to classes on Monday the 29th.
