Governor Tony Evers has now given more pardons in three years than the previous two governors did in their 16 years combined.
Evers announced 29 new pardons Friday, bringing his total to 307 since re-starting the Governor’s Pardon Advisory Board in 2019. The pardons were mostly for drug-related convictions.
