Emotions Run High in Rittenhouse Trial

Kyle Rittenhouse is getting grilled on the witness stand by the prosecution. 

Kyle Rittenhouse became emotional on the stand as he testified in his own defense.

The judge called for a brief recess.

The 18-year-old is accused of opening fire on protesters in Kenosha, during civil unrest over a police shooting last year, killing two men.  The prosecution repeatedly asked Rittenhouse if he purposely meant to kill his victims.  Rittenhouse repeatedly said he was only defending himself.

Meanwhile, from the bench the judge is blasting the prosecution in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial.  Judge Bruce Schroeder yelled at Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger after he kept asking Rittenhouse about his knowledge and beliefs about the law.
