Drop the acting from Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffery Norman’s title.
The city’s Fire and Police Commission yesterday named Norman as the city’s newest police chief. It wasn’t a surprise. FPC members have wanted Norman as chief for the past year, but needed to move former chief Alfonso Morales out of the way first. Norman was the only candidate for the job this time around. He says he wants to focus on changing the culture inside the Milwaukee Police Department.
