Job creation came roaring back in October as the U.S. economy added 531-thousand new jobs.
Along with half-a-million new jobs, the unemployment rate fell to four-point-six percent last month. The Labor Department reports job growth was widespread, with gains in leisure and hospitality, professional and business services, manufacturing, transportation, and warehousing. Job creation had slowed dramatically in August and September after the economy added more than a million jobs in July.
