Officials with SSM Health say thousands of young children are set to receive their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
SSM has only been making appointments for children five to eleven-years-old who just became eligible for vaccinations. About three-thousand kids have been signed up in the first 12 hours of making the appointments. Five-thousand additional kids have been registered for vaccinations at school-based clinics.
