Investigators with the state are looking into yesterday’s deadly officer-involved shooting in Eau Claire.
Police say two officers shot and killed a knife-wielding man who’d just stabbed a woman at her home. Police say the stabbing looks like a domestic violence case. The woman who was stabbed suffered serious injuries and had to be flown to the hospital for treatment. The man is being identified as a 30 year old Eau Claire man.
Neither of the officers were hurt. Both are now on leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
