A bag of groceries could save you a bundle if you owe the police in Menomonie.
The city’s police department yesterday said it is offering its Food for Fines program until the end of the year. People can get two dollars off per-food item donation. The program has been around since 2016, and has brought-in over five thousand pounds of food so far.
