The Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin is warning residents that the holiday season coupled with supply chain issues make perfect conditions for scammers to exploit.
Officials warn shoppers not to shop on sites they’re not familiar with and if the item you want is out of stock go to BBB-dot-org to do research before shopping on an unfamiliar site. It’s also important to watch your payment methods and to use a credit card or PayPal so you can dispute any fraudulent transaction.
