Wisconsin’s election managers can expect even more questions from lawmakers in Madison.
The State Senate yesterday announced it will begin an investigation into last year’s vote ‘in the coming weeks.’ Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu said the problems unearthed by last week’s election audit are driving the new investigation. LeMahieu said the Senate investigation will look at whether election laws were violated, and what the future could be for the Wisconsin Elections Commission. There are already two open election investigations in the State Assembly.
