WI Health Managers Prep for Booster Shots

Wisconsin’s public health managers are ready to offer more booster shots.

The state’s Department of Health Services on Friday said it will begin offering Johnson & Johnson and Moderna boosters. The FDA and CDC both recently approved the company’s vaccines for use as booster shots. DHS says the Moderna booster is recommended for people over 65 and at risk of other illnesses, while the Johnson & Johnson booster is recommended for anyone who got the Johnson & Johnson shot at least two months ago.
