As you might imagine, Republicans and Democrats at the Wisconsin Capitol have two entirely different sets of take-aways from the latest audit into the 2020 election.
The Legislative Audit Bureau released its audit on Friday. Democrats say it shows that the 2020 vote was safe and secure, but Republicans say the audit found some serious questions about absentee voting and whether election managers followed the law. The audit made 30 recommendations for election managers across the state, and another 18 for lawmakers. Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says the audit shows why the Republican investigation into last year’s election is necessary.
