Madison state Senator Melissa Agard is not giving-up on legal marijuana in the state.
She held a virtual roundtable on the idea yesterday. Agard is one of several Democrats at the State Capitol who say legalizing marijuana will bring money into the state and keep people out of jail. But legal weed is, mostly, a non-starter at the statehouse. The Republicans who control the state legislature don’t support it.
