One Fall Creek parent says the lawsuit aimed at getting kids in schools to mask-up is essentially blackmail.
Local parent and Treasurer of Republican Party of Wisconsin, Brian Westrate says there are some parents in the school district who wouldn’t mind seeing kids wear masks, but he says there are very few who want an out-of-towner targeting their school to make a political point. Westrate says Minocqua Brewing Company owner Kirk Bangstad is a bully who is trying to blackmail Fall Creek Schools into doing what he wants.
Westrate went on to say, had local parents led the lawsuit, that’d be something different. As it stands, Fall Creek mom is suing because she says her son caught the coronavirus because other students weren’t wearing masks.
