A 24-year-old woman in Turkey is now the owner of a Guinness World Record, and it is quite a tall tale.
Rumeysa Gelgi stands a little over seven-feet tall, making her the tallest living woman in the world. Guinness explained her height is due to a condition called Weaver syndrome, which causes accelerated growth and “other abnormalities.” Gelgi now makes two record holders for height in the country, as the tallest living man in the world is also from Turkey.
