A non-profit that helps the families of fallen service members and first responders has paid off the mortgage of a local Air Guard pilot who crashed on a training mission.
Tunnels to Towers paid the rest of what was owed on Major Durwood Jones’ home. He died when his F-16 went down last December in the UP. He left behind a wife and two young sons.
