Wisconsin transportation officials want to remind drivers that it’s peak season for highway crashes involving deer and other wildlife that are on the move looking for food and looking for a mate.
According to the State Farm Insurance annual report Wisconsin ranks among the top five states regarding crashes with deer. There is a one in 54 chance in Wisconsin of having such a crash. The national average is one in a 116.
