‘Twin Title Town’ is a little too close to Title Town for the Packers’ liking.
The team has asked a court to block a California sports memorabilia company from using the phrase on its replica championship rings. Better Bobble Inc. has a design for rings that celebrate the Lakers’ and Dodgers’ championships that reads ‘Twin Title Town’ and has an outline of L.A.’s skyline. The Packers say fans think of Green Bay as Title Town, and they want to avoid any confusion.
