The University of Wisconsin is closing-in on 70-percent vaccinated system-wide.
The university on Friday said Whitewater and Oshkosh are the latest schools to hit the 70-percent vaccination threshold. That means the two campuses are now eligible for some of the nearly half-million dollars set aside for coronavirus scholarships. The Eau Claire, La Crosse, and Milwaukee campuses are already at 70-percent. UW-Madison is more than 70- percent vaccinated but is not a part of the scholarship incentive.
