Golfers from the United States and Europe are putting the finishing touches on their preparations for this year’s 43rd Ryder Cup.
The two rival teams tee off at Whistling Straits on Friday in what is considered golf’s preeminent event. The Ryder Cup is played every other year and features 12-member teams from the United States and Europe competing in five-match play sessions. Wisconsin native Steve Stricker is the U.S. Ryder Cup captain and Europe is the current holder of the cup.
