The showdown at Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources will continue.
A Dane County judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit that sought to replace Frederick Prehn on the DNR board. Prehn is a Scott Walker appointee but has not stepped down. He said he will leave when a successor is confirmed by the Wisconsin Senate. That hasn’t happened. Lawmakers do not like Governor Tony Evers’ latest pick, and no one is saying if the governor will submit another candidate anytime soon.
