Pfizer is out with big news for parents about its COVID vaccine.
The company says a low dose is safe and effective for children ages five to 11. Those tested showed antibody responses after the second shot. They also reported that the levels were just as strong as vaccinated teenagers and young adults.
Pfizer’s CEO says they plans to ask the FDA to approve this age group soon. The vaccine is already available for anyone 12 and older.
