Kids and teachers in Chippewa Falls schools have to mask-up once again.

Superintendent Jeff Holmes sent a letter home to parents on Friday explaining the new mask rules. Everyone who steps into a school in Chippewa Falls, including visitors and people who’ve been vaccinated, must wear a mask. Holmes says nearly 10-percent of kids are at home, either because of a positive coronavirus test or because of quarantine. He says there were 66 students confirmed with the virus last week, and nearly 500 students in quarantine because of close contact.
