Add UW-Eau Claire to the list of UW schools with 70-percent of students vaccinated.
The university made the announcement yesterday. Hitting the 70-percent threshold means students are now eligible for some of the school’s nearly half-million dollars in coronavirus vaccine scholarship money. UW President Tommy Thompson created the 70 for 70 program to incentivize students to get their coronavirus shots. Once one of the state’s smaller campuses hits 70-percent, it qualifies for one of 70, seven-thousand-dollar scholarships.
