Milwaukee County’s clerk is thumbing his nose at the man leading one of Wisconsin’s election investigations.
Clerk George Christenson says the request from former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gablemen to save any and all voter data from the county’s voting machines raises a lot of questions. One, Christenson says the request to keep that data is off, because clerks already save that information for almost two years. Two, Christenson says the email that he got looks like it could be a scam or phishing attempt. Gableman is leading the investigation for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, but he’s not saying just what he hopes to find in the county’s voter data.
