Police officers and sheriff’s deputies in Eau Claire are getting new camera gear thanks to a private donation.
Eau Claire’s city council yesterday voted to accept the nearly one-million-dollar donation from PESI. The money will buy new cameras for investigation rooms, squad cars, and officers and deputies themselves. The donation will cover the cost to buy the gear and maintain it for the next four years.
