The Eau Claire City-County Health Department is seeking assistance in locating a dog that bit a male, Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, at approximately 7:35 p.m. The bite occurred at the intersection of Birch & Galloway Street.
The dog was described as a medium sized husky type breed with silver/white hair and blue eyes. The dog was on a leash walking with a male described to be in his mid-20’s, approximately 6 ft. tall with a full beard. He was wearing gray shorts, and a blue shirt with white and red horizontal stripes. The man was riding a blue and white BMX bike headed westbound on Birch Street.
The health and rabies status of this dog needs to be determined. If anyone has information about this animal they should contact the Eau Claire Communications Center at 715-839-4972.
