University of Wisconsin police are warning students about a new scam.
The department says there’s been a massive uptick in the number of scams targeting students. One in particular offers 500-dollars a week to be a personal assistant. Police say if you’re offered money without actually doing work or a job without ever applying or if you’re notified you won a large sum of money it’s most likely a scam.
