The showdown between some Wisconsin lawmakers and the UW System is taking another step forward.
State Senator Steve Nass yesterday asked the legislature to take the university to court over its coronavirus policies. Nass helped pass a new rule that requires the university to get permission from lawmakers before requiring vaccines or masks on campus. The university isn’t requiring shots, but is requiring masks. Nass says the university is both ignoring state law and challenging the authority of the legislature.
