The body of missing fire chief Jeff Halvorsen has been identified.
Police say Halvorsen went missing Wednesday and was last seen in his truck. The truck was found in a wooded area with a body inside which has now been positively identified as Halvorsen. Police say they haven’t ruled the cause of death yet and are waiting on a toxicology report.
