The former bishop in La Crosse is out of the ICU as he continues to be treated for the coronavirus.
Cardinal Raymond Burke has been fighting the virus since August 10th. Over the weekend, the church said Burke was taken off a ventilator and moved from the ICU. Burke, who is 73, served as bishop in La Crosse before becoming archbishop in St. Louis. He left that job for a post at the Vatican in 2008.
