On Saturday, August 21, 2021, the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a 2-vehicle crash on State Road 35 at State Road 25 in the Township of Nelson with unknown injuries.
Upon arrival, investigation showed Kylie Barningham was traveling eastbound on State Road 35, attempting to turn north on to State Road 25 when she failed to yield and was struck by Christina Gbejewoh who was traveling West on State Road 35.
Barninham was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze and had a minor child with her. Gbejewoh was the lone occupant, operating a 2015 Ram Truck. Barningham, Gbejewoh and the minor child were all transported to the hospital by ground ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
