The latest piece for Eau Claire’s new Hy-Vee is in place.
The city council last night changed the rules for liquor sales to allow the new store to sell alcohol in the store and in its restaurant. It was not unanimous however, councilwoman Jill Christopherson voted against the idea. She said her opinion is that Wisconsin drinks too much as a state, and she can’t support making it easier to buy alcohol in Eau Claire.
