The spike in new coronavirus cases is not pushing more people to get the coronavirus vaccine.
The state’s Department of Health Services says doctors last week gave-out just over 52-thousand vaccine doses. That’s about where Wisconsin’s dose total has been for the past three weeks. In all, DHS says doctors and nurses have administered nearly six-million vaccine doses since late last year. A little over 53-percent of people in Wisconsin have gotten one dose of the vaccine.
