The flames are out, but firefighters in Fort Atkinson will spend a few more days keeping an eye on an old warehouse that burned to the ground last week.
The city’s fire department said on Facebook yesterday that the flames at the warehouse burned for more than 96 hours. The fire started on Tuesday and was so hot that it used-up Fort Atkinson’s entire water supply. Firefighters pulled-back and let the fire burn itself out. There’s still no word what started the fire.
