Portions of the city of Fort Atkinson are being monitored by the EPA after a massive warehouse fire.
Yesterday, WKOW reported environmental protection personnel are keeping an eye on air and ground water quality near the site of the fire on Oak Street. It took nearly all the city’s water supply as well as a hundred-50-firefighters working over 96-hours to complete the pull down of the warehouse fire that started last Tuesday. The warehouse used to store military equipment parts including tires but now is a total loss.
