The VA hospital in Madison launches a new cancer center.
Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough was on hand yesterday for the ribbon cutting ceremony at William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital. The new center can provide radiation therapy and other forms of cancer treatments for three-hundred patients.
Work on the VA’s 13-point-five-thousand square foot cancer center began back in 2018.
