The economic news from the Wisconsin Capitol continues to get better.
The Legislative Fiscal Bureau this week said Wisconsin is on pace to end the current state budget with a record-setting one-point-seven-billion-dollar surplus. That’s the largest surplus in state history. LFB says the new budget will also end with one-point-five-billion-dollars in Wisconsin’s rainy day fund.
