Election Day 2022 will look pretty much like Election Day 2020.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday vetoed seven Republican-backed election reform proposals. The governor says the proposed laws made it harder for people to vote. But, Republican Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu said the plans made it easier for people to vote and harder for them to cheat. Among the plans the governor vetoed was a proposal to tighten the rules for indefinitely confined voters, to make sure everyone shows voter ID, and to stop other people from collecting-up ballots and turning them in to election managers.
