Madison police are investigating a shooting that shattered glass of a car carrying a woman and two children.
The car was hit by gunfire last night as the woman was driving her 13 and five-year-olds in the 61-hundred-block of Birch Hill Road. A bullet shattered the rear window and landed in between the two children in the backseat. Police found multiple shell casings at the scene but fortunately there were no injuries.
