Add Olympic silver medalist to Kenny Bednarek’s resume.
The Rice Lake native captured the silver in the men’s 200 meter sprint. He finished just a fraction of a second behind the Canadian runner in the race. Bednarek had run the fastest qualifying time in the 200, only to lose by less than a step in the medal race.
