The National Weather Service in Green Bay today confirms straight line wind damage from near Omro and Eureka, south to Rush Lake and Pickett. The Weather Service in Milwaukee says it was 70 to 75 mile an hour straight line winds that tore through the Ripon and Brandon area Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Seven tornadoes are now being confirmed in Wisconsin from a string of severe thunderstorms that swept across the late Wednesday night and early yesterday morning.
The National Weather Service says the latest confirmed tornado is an EF-0 in Waukesha County. It’s the fifth tornado confirmed in Southeast Wisconsin. The two others are in the northwestern part of the state. All the tornadoes are of EF-1 and EF-0 strength.
