Students at UW-La Crosse who get their coronavirus shot have a shot at some extra scholarship money.

The school yesterday said it is offering more scholarships, along with other prizes, to get more students vaccinated. The scholarships are in addition to the seven-thousand-dollar scholarships being offered as part of the UW System’s 70 For 70 program. UW-La Crosse’s Jenni Brundage says the school is not forcing people to get vaccinated, but it is absolutely trying to encourage them to get the shot.
