Former Milwaukee police chief Alfonso Morales is walking away from the city with 627-thousand-dollars.
Milwaukee’s Common Council approved Morales’ wrongful termination settlement yesterday. The agreement spares Milwaukee from any further lawsuits from the former chief and allows the city to hire a new permanent police chief. Morales sued after he was pushed-out last summer. Morales is one of four finalists for the police chief’s job in Fitchburg.
