Wisconsin Democrats are heading into next year’s election with a huge cash-on-hand advantage.
The latest campaign finance reports show Democrats in the state have a six-to-one fundraising lead over Republicans. Most of the money is dedicated toward federal races, with most of that being the U.S. Senate race. Democrats had nearly six-point-eight million-dollars on-hand at the end of June. That’s compared to just one-point-two million-dollars for Republicans in the state.
