The Democratic field for the U.S. Senate seat held by Republican Ron Johnson keeps expanding.
Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes tweeted his intentions today to run in the Democratic primary. He hopes to become the nominee and ultimately the first black U.S. Senator from Wisconsin. Senator Johnson has not said whether he will seek a third term.
