Wisconsin’s medical schools are teaming-up to take on health disparities in the state.
The Medical College of Wisconsin and the UW School of Medicine yesterday announced a three-million-dollar partnership to try and improve health across the state. The idea is to get a snapshot of healthcare and health insurance access in Wisconsin, then compare that to data on places where health outcomes are lacking. UW’s Richard Moss says they expect to find health disparities in both big cities and rural parts of the state.
He says the coronavirus did not help the health gap in the state.
